Queenstown Cricket Club - The Way Forward…………………………………………………

The aim of the Queenstown Cricket Club is to become a highly respected club through a vibrant game and club.

In simple terms we must strive to maintain a vibrant club game in which all players have the opportunity to play, practice and perform at the highest level that their skills allow, on the best facilities, in a well organised and run sport, controlled and supported by the best officials and administrators. A game for all people - male, female, young and old, that reflects the 'Spirit of Cricket' and is an attractive and entertaining spectacle for spectators, the media and sponsors. Every youngster should have the opportunity to play or become involved in the game - backed up by a quality youth and adult coaching structure, the club offering cricket for able bodied or those with special needs, and offering a purely 'social' game. All youngsters must have the opportunity to learn, through quality coaching or training, all aspects of the sport and be given the chance to fulfil and expand their given talents from the playground to the international arena.

By working together in a coordinated and structured way we can help Queenstown Cricket Club to become something for all to be proud of and achieve the goals:

To promote, direct, foster, encourage and improve Cricket in Queenstown.
